(Grayslake, IL) – Waubonsee Community College women's volleyball team swept the College of Lake County three games to none to advance to the semi-finals of the Region IV Division II Tournament. The Chiefs (23-9) downed the host school 25-15, 25-18 and 25-18 to move on to a noon match-up with Black Hawk College tomorrow, Sunday, November 7 at noon (DST). In the Chiefs' win over the Lancers, coach Steve Kish's crew was led by sophomore sensation Olivia McPherson. The returning All-American tallied 14 kills, 16 digs and two service aces. Outside hitter Anna Gonzalez chipped in with 11 kills, Kiara McPherson recorded 20 assists and 10 digs, Claire Sweeney added seven kills and Evelyn Martin contributed 11 digs and two aces.
