(Charlotte, NC) - Following the recommendations from the Center for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC), the National Junior College Athletic Association (NJCAA) has made the decision to cancel all upcoming spring competitions, effective immediately. Spring competition includes all practices and open-gyms, regular season contests, and postseason and national championship play. No spring sport student-athlete who was enrolled at a member college in 2020 will be charged a year of participation.

Along with the cancellation of competition, all on- and off-campus athletics recruiting will be halted until April 15, with further evaluation at that time.
