(Northbrook, IL) - Waubonsee Community College's Austen Velazquez captured medalist honors at the first Illinois Skyway Collegiate Conference match of the season. The freshman from Marmion Academy shot a 5-over par 76 to best the field at Sportsman's Country Club. The Chiefs' Collmann Aaron carded a 91 while teammate Carter Imel finished with a 93. The College of Lake County won the team title with a score of 332 in the season opener for all the teams.
