(Aurora, IL.) - Waubonsee Community College's Men's Tennis squad evened their season record at 3-3 overall with a solid 6-3 victory over the College of DuPage. Played indoors at the Vaughn Center on Aurora's far west side, the Chiefs won all six matches that were held. Jason Koesler topped Avik Majmudar 6-3, 6-0 at number one singles. Adam Pflederer downed Jeff Spear 6-2 and 7-6 in a tie breaker at number three singles. Triston Robb dispatched DuPage's Dominic Giallussi 6-1, 6-2 at number four singles, and Jacob Decker edged Jeff Gaffud in three sets. Koesler and Pflederer teamed up to win at number one doubles in convincing fashion 8-1 over the pairing of Majmudar and Zach Huerta. Robb and Decker also won at number two doubles, taking their match 8-3 over Spear and Giallussi. Waubonsee forfeited the number three doubles match, number two singles match due to injury, and the number six singles match.
