Waubonsee's Megan Arcivar had allowed only a walk and an infield single in shutting down the Scots in the game's initial three innings. However, a pair of Chiefs' errors led to a three-run fourth for McHenry. The Scots then scored six more runs in the fifth to reach the eight-run after five innings slaughter rule.
