February Frenzy is set to commence this week, with some March Madness surely to follow. The brackets for the upcoming NJCAA Region IV Division II women's and men's basketball post-season tournaments have been set. Waubonsee Community College's women's basketball team received the number three seed in District L and will host sixth-seeded Kankakee Community College this coming Wednesday, February 23 at 6:00 p.m. (CDT) in Erickson Hall Gymnasium. The following day Waubonsee's men's team will host Olive-Harvey College

The Chiefs (22-5) and Cavaliers (10-16) met just 16 days ago in Kankakee with Waubonsee coming away a 73-63 victor. Janiece Thomas, Brooke Heiman and Jaylynn Vana all booked double-doubles in that game to help the Chiefs secure the road win.
